General Elections 2018: Sheikhupura in Punjab, Karachi West in Sindh with highest percentage of male voters

An analysis of final electoral rolls for General Elections 2018 has revealed that district Chakwal has the highest percentage of female voters (48.49%) among all the 36 districts of Punjab. The district has 535,125 female voters out of total 1,103,534 voters registered with the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

As per the ECP latest statistics, among male voters the district Sheikhupura has the highest percentage of male voters (57.99%) in the province. There are 986,709 male voters out of total 1,701,429 voters in the district.

 

 

In terms of overall voters, Lahore district tops the list with 5,398,623 voters including 2,386,363 female voters. The district Hafizabad has the lowest number of registered voters across Punjab i.e, 684,447 including 299,685 female voters.

 


In Sindh, Jacobabad has the highest percentage of female voters i.e., 46.49%. Among male voters in Sindh, Karachi West tops the list with 60.26% male voters. Karachi West has 1,000,387 male voters out of total 1,660,057 voters.

 

 

In terms of overall voters, Karachi Central with total 1,860,137 voters tops the list in Sindh including 838,057 female voters. Tando Muhammad Khan has the lowest number of registered voters across Sindh i.e., 274,941 including 123,957 female voters.
